2019 was a challenging year business wise in Malawi.The economic environment was for the most part of the year very tough.Businesses like ours were severely affected by the uncertainties that were brought about by the May 2019 tripartite elections dispute.
In addition there were sustained periods of demonstrations nationwide and sadly in some cases these demonstrations turned violent and businesses were lost in the process. We had clients postponing or out-rightly cancelling projects because of the tense environment.
We still managed to execute a number of experiential campaigns during the year regardless of the situation.We undertook projects like the Airtel New Sites activations, Airtel MIFI 4G activations, Airtel Chezani Voice Bundles activations,Airtel College Digitial Weekend activations, Seba’s Golden Goodness activations, Rab Processors new Sunshine soap activations, Colgate Palmolive BSBF program ,Colgate Palmolive sales activations.
These activations for leading brands like the ones highlighted above further helped us stand out as Malawi’s leading experiential marketing agency.As the time for CIM Malawi came to receive entries for awards to reward excellence,we humbly submitted our entries for the newly introduced Experiential Agency of the Year category to recognize the work experiential marketing agencies do in aiding business growth.
We were humbled to get a nomination and consequently winning the inaugural CIM Malawi Marketing Excellence Awards Experiential Marketing Agency of the Year award.
